Guild Rules

  1. Be honorable
    • I want our guild to be made up of players others will look up to.

  2. No profanity
    • This includes guild chat, party chat, and otherwise. Some members have children who will see it and most kids are smart enough to know how to turn off the profanity filter.

  3. No Ninjas
    • I don't think this needs an explanation.

  4. No begging or selling in guild chat
    • There will be no asking guild mates for gold, items, whatever.
    • I would encourage you to share what you cannot use with your guild mates but there is NO obligation to do so. If you need money then feel free to sell it on the auction house. But do not spam the guild chat with your sales.
    • This also includes begging higher levels to "Run" you through an instance. If you have quests in an instance, you can schedule an instance in the Group Calendar add-on or ask guild mates to come do it with you.

  5. Have fun
    • I want everyone in the guild to have fun but this should not be at the expense of others. I expect all guild members to be considerate of other guild members and attend guild events they are able to attend. Remember, this goes both ways, if someone cannot come help at a certain event, be considerate of their needs as well.

Loot Rules

When you are grouped, if you see sparkles, ALWAYS check the corpse for loot. However, you should ALWAYS wait until everyone has been resurrected, online, and/or in range before looting so everyone will have a chance at rolling.

For most groups we will simply use the standard group looting system. If you need the item, just click the dice to roll need. If the item is BOE (Bind On Equip) and you don't need it, then click the coins to roll greed. If the item is BOPU (Bind On Pick-Up) and you don't need it, then roll greed or click to disenchant (if an enchanter is in the group).  Try not to click disenchant on BOE items as someone in group may want it for an alt (need rolling on BOE items makes them soulbound and so can't be used for alts).

Raid Loot

  1. One epic item per person per instance for your "main spec" or primary role by rolling /roll 100 or bidding as described below.
  2. If you already received a "main spec" epic and another epic that you need drops, even if its for your "main spec", it becomes an off-spec roll or bid and will be counted with other off-spec rolls or bids.
  3. For off-spec, do /roll 1000 or if we are bidding, say 'off-spec'or 'I got something already' in your tell with your bid.
  4. "Main spec" bids and rolls will be counted first, "off spec" rolls or bids will only be counted if no one else in raid rolls or bids "main spec".
  5. Any items that are BOPU and not needed by anyone will be DEd (Disenchanted) and the shards sent to the Guild Vault.
  6. You may not roll and then ask to have your BOPU item sent to another player .
  7. You may not at any time say that you want exclusive privileges to an item that may drop in a raid. Any person that needs an item that drops may need roll. Priority will only be granted by class, i.e., a hunter will get priority on any guns/bows that drop.
  8. For legendary weapon fragments, we will assign one player to receive them based upon rank, raid attendence, and the number of fragments he/she already has.

For current tier raid instances, we will be using the Master Looter system and DKP.

DKP Rules

DKP and raid positions will be awarded as follows:
  1. 10 mins before a raid is scheduled to start, everyone signed up to the raid will be invited.
  2. Invites will be repeated till raid start time for everyone signed up to raid that night.
  3. Three DKP will be awarded to everyone in the raid group.
  4. Members of the raid that are rank Champion or higher will be assigned raid positions first.
  5. Members of the raid that are rank Knight or Squire will be assigned raid positions followed by Initiates.
  6. If the raid isn't full, then general guild invites will go out to those that are online but didn't sign up and raid positions will be given out according to rank.
  7. Members of the raid that signed up but have their raid positions filled by higher ranking guild members will be put on standby but free to do other activities.
  8. One DKP will be awarded to everyone in the raid with each boss kill, three if its a new progression boss.
  9. At the end of the raid, three DKP will be awarded to everyone in the raid.

If anyone signs up to raid and does not show up, he or she should deposit 10 gold into the guild vault.

Items will be bid on using the E-bay method:

  1. The master looter (ML) will do: /ra [item link] PST bids to <raid leader name>
  2. The ML will repeat that for every biddable item that drops assigning each different item to a different raid leader.
  3. Players will send a bid in DKP units to the raid leader assigned to that item, minimum bid will be one DKP.
  4. Highest bid will win the item; there will be no second bids.
  5. The bidder will be charged the next highest bid plus one DKP.

For example: Ravenous bids 10 DKP for an item and the next highest bid was 2 DKP; Ravenous wins and gets charged 3 DKP. If no one else had bid, then Ravenous gets charged 1 DKP.

Since re-specing takes 10 seconds and I expect those classes that can fullfill dual roles to do so,  there is no restriction for bidding on “off-spec” items.

No one may bid more than the DKP they have at the START of the raid. Anyone who wins a bid which turns out to be more than what they had at the START of the raid, will be charged double the DKP. Players are responsible for knowing how much DKP they have and they may not ask a raid leader to check.

If a player has zero DKP at the start of the raid, he may still bid the minimum one DKP.

If we have to pug players, then bidding will be suspended for any items the pug players need and we’ll do a /roll for that item and one DKP will be charged to the winner. I will never exclude pug players from rolling on loot, as I see it, if they weren’t present, we wouldn’t have been able to get the loot in the first place so they have a right to roll.
